Proud of Rise and Rebuild - Even on the Hard Days

Starting Rise and Rebuild has been one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life. From the very beginning, this journey has been about more than building a brand or sharing advice, it’s been about healing, growth, and showing up, even when life feels heavy.

I have so much pride in what Rise and Rebuild represents. It’s a place where people can find motivation, tools, and inspiration to rebuild their lives after setbacks. It’s a reminder that progress is possible, no matter how hard things get. And while it’s still early days for Rise and Rebuild, I have really high hopes that this can become a space that helps others who have been in my situation feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward.

Behind the posts, the blogs, and the plans for the future, there is a very real struggle. Living with depression and anxiety means that even when I’m proud of what I’ve built, there are days that feel overwhelming. Some days, getting out of bed, opening my laptop, or writing a post feels like climbing a mountain. Some days, my mind races with doubt, and the weight of my own expectations makes me question whether I’m doing enough.

But here’s what I’m learning: being proud of your progress doesn’t mean ignoring the struggle. It doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means acknowledging the challenges while still choosing to move forward even in small steps.

Rise and Rebuild started as a way for me to take control of my life after difficult seasons. It became a reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight and that even small wins matter. Sharing my story, my thoughts, and my insights is part of that process. It’s also part of showing others that it’s okay to struggle while still working toward something meaningful.

Mental health doesn’t pause just because you’re building something you love. Depression and anxiety can make the smallest tasks feel exhausting. They can make your accomplishments feel hollow. But even on the days I feel low, I try to remind myself that showing up, posting, writing, planning, or simply reflecting is enough. Every step, no matter how small, is part of the bigger picture.

I want Rise and Rebuild to be more than a brand. I want it to be a space where honesty and growth coexist. Where people feel inspired to keep moving forward, not because life is easy, but because life is worth rebuilding, even when it’s hard.

Looking ahead, I have big things planned for Rise and Rebuild. I’m excited to share new content, ideas, and resources that will help people take control of their lives and rebuild with purpose. And while it’s still early days, I truly believe that what I’m building has the potential to help others who have been in my situation. But I also know that I have to care for myself along the way. Part of this journey is recognizing that self-care isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity, especially when mental health challenges are part of your life.

To anyone reading this who struggles with similar feelings: you are not alone. It’s okay to have hard days. It’s okay to feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure. What matters is that you keep moving, even in small ways, toward your goals and your growth. Your journey is valid, and your efforts matter.

I am proud of Rise and Rebuild. I am proud of the steps I’ve taken, even when the days are heavy. And I am excited for the future not because it will be perfect, but because it will be real, honest, and full of opportunities to grow, heal, and rebuild.

Rise, rebuild, and keep going even on the hard days.
